Specific Needs

Thank you for expressing an interest in Volunteering to help others less fortunate.

As a (potential or registered) Volunteer, it is assumed you are interested in identifying with both Individual Clients in need of your help and their specific need(s).  To do this you first need to be registered as an Authenticated Volunteer with specific care interests.  This site will empower you to view the authenticated Volunteer Initiative opportunities and those  Clients registering their specific needs for help so that you are best able to select which one(s) you feel best able to help.

There are two clusters of  “Need” opportunities available from which to select.

  1. A “Need” request from an individual authenticated “Client” with an authenticated “Need” who seeks help from a Volunteer (possibly like Yourself) and who is willing and able to help them (eg.  Elderly Mary Jane has a need for someone to help her move some of her belongings into a new home)

Click on the “Individual Needs List” button below to view the current list of authenticated needs from which to select:-

Individual Needs List button    or simply produce a list the top 10 needs – summarised in order of their urgency

  2. A “Need” request from another registered “Volunteer” identifying an authenticated care “Initiative” which they have registered and now seeks additional Volunteer(s)  to help them (possibly like Yourself).   The Initiative could be on behalf of someone else (like a registered Client) in need or from a group/organisation also in need of many Volunteers (eg. painting the local Community Centre building).

Click on the “Initiative Needs List” button below to view the current list of authenticated Initiatives available from which to select:-

If you wish to be referred to the Dashboard specifically designed for all registered Volunteers, simply click on the “Volunteers” tab above.
